Video - Reconstruction In this example a car moves rapidly across the screen The whole of the car was never in view - only parts of it can be seen at a time.  A camera takes 25 frames per second (30 in the US) and each frame comprises two images taken at different moments in time during which the van has moved and so the resulting frames are fuzzy.  It is not possible to reconstruct the car by simply "gluing" various sections together. Click play to view the video (you might need to click twice). But by using advanced time and space algorithms the car can be reconstructed so that the make/model, number of occupants etc. can be established. Note in this example even the wheel design can be seen.
