Video - Adding a timecode Most CCTV systems include a timecode, this is either burnt in to the image when it is first recorded or embedded which means it can be selectively shown. But many recordings are made without a timecode and this makes it difficult to describe where in a recording an incident happened. We can add a timecode comprising hours, minutes seconds and video frames (00:00:00:00). Far easier to say "the incident occurs 2 minutes and 58 seconds and 8 frames into the recording" than to try and describe where it is. The images on the left and the right are part of the same video recording but  the right hand image has a timecode added in the top left hand corner.  Contact us from here to discuss any case. Back
